Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
The Lambda Beta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia plays a vibrant and visible role in the musical life of Susquehanna. Phi Mu Alpha is the largest music fraternity in the world, with more than 150,000 initiates, and chapters on more than 200 American college and university campuses. Like other Greek organizations, members of Phi Mu Alpha are involved in service and social activities throughout the year. The proceeds of their volunteer work go toward enriching music programs in public schools. Active members (“Sinfonians”) share a love of music that unites them as brothers with a common interest. Through a multitude of chapter, provincial and national events, Phi Mu Alpha offers unlimited opportunities for performance, community music outreach and other activities designed to develop a true appreciation for the power of music to uplift the human spirit.
“Being a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia gives me the chance to be a part of Greek life and evolve as a musician in the brotherhood. It is the atmosphere that any musician longs for – a passion for music and a love for a good laugh.”
