Kata Tjuta

Kata Tjuta. Mount Olga is on the left. This is a series of rock domes about 40km to the west of Uluru. While they are geologically related to Uluru, they are structurally distinct with a different, more aggregate type of rock. While they are regarded as sacred, and visitors are required not to climb on the domes, access is possible through a series of gorges and valleys.
