Summer 2008

Dear Class of 2012 Crusader:

Congratulations on your admission to Susquehanna University. The Office of First-Year Programs, along with the Division of Student Life, welcomes you to our vibrant campus. We are pleased that you chose to become part of our academic community, and we look forward to assisting you in your transition to life at Susquehanna and introducing you to the myriad of opportunities that await you.

The Summer Preview Programs are specially designed to orient you to your university experience. This required one-day program event further acquaints you with the University as a whole and prepares you for your new life as a first-year college student within and outside of the classroom. As with any significant life transition, it helps to know as much as possible in order to make informed decisions and choices. The Summer Preview Day will assist you in understanding the goals and expectations of this dynamic university community, and will introduce you to the valuable services and programs available on campus. Moreover, it will allow you to meet other new students talk with faculty and staff, and have all of your questions answered. We hope you will find your orientation experience informative, helpful, and most of all, enjoyable.

As you prepare to attend your Summer Preview Day, please take time to review the important information within this orientation registration package. Whether you are a first-year student or transfer students you will find enclosed all the information you will need to register for your session date and plan for your visit to S.U.

Once again, congratulations and welcome to Susquehanna. We look forward to seeing you this summer.

Sincerely,

Caro Mercado, Assistant Dean and Director
