341,020 Volumes:
Of the 341,000+ volumes in the Blough-Weis Library, more than 132,000 are located on the second floor and lower level in the general circulating collections (Main, Folio, and Oversize). Books in these collections have been chosen to support the curriculum. Subject strengths include Business and Management, Communications, Elizabethan Studies, Environmental Studies, Literature, Music, Pennsylvania German Culture, and Religious Studies. Access is available during normal Library operating hours and all books circulate for the normal loan period of 4 weeks.

The main floor of the library contains the Reference Collection, Periodicals collection, and 38 computers that access electronic databases. The Library also has 35 laptops available for bibliographic instruction and loaning to patrons.

The lower level of the Library also contains the Bibliography and Law Reference sections, as well as an additional five computers.
 
16,480 Journals, Online Newspapers, and Microforms:
The Library has access to more than 16,480 electronic, print, and microform periodicals which have been chosen to support the curriculum. Subject strengths include Business and Management, Communications, Elizabethan Studies, Environmental Studies, Literature, Music, Pennsylvania German Culture, and Religious Studies. The library also subscribes to several local, national, and international newspapers.

Electronic journal subscriptions are available from any networked campus computer. Access to the print and microform collection is available during normal Library operating hours. Periodicals and newspapers do not circulate. To find articles on a specific topic, consult the appropriate online database.

Scores are located in the Media Center. Access to this collection is available during normal Library operating hours. Members of the faculty and staff may contact 372-4324 for more information about the collection.
 
8,681 Audio/Music and Video Tapes, CDs and DVDs.
This collection includes feature American and foreign films, documentaries, and instructional films. These videos are purchased to support classes in many disciplines. They are housed in the Multimedia Center on the Lower Level of the Library. If a faculty member places a video on course reserve, it will be available at the Library's Media Center desk. Faculty can borrow videos for classroom use. Students can view videos in this collection on the TV and DVD or VCR equipment in the Media Center.

The Library also maintains a collection of popular films in both DVD and VCR format. Feel free to browse the collection in the Media Center. These items may be checked out for a period of two days.
