Meeting Rooms
Meeting Rooms
The Library is designed with several small group conference and seminar rooms for the convenience of faculty and students. All of these rooms are on the second floor of the Library. Faculty members may contact the Library secretary, ext. 4317, to reserve the following spaces:
- The Jane Conrad Apple Room – reserved
for use of special collections. The room
accommodates six (6) persons at a single
conference table and 4-6 additional in
lounge chairs.
- The Library Seminar Room –
accommodates 25 persons at conference tables.
A chalk board and permanently mounted projector and screen are
installed. The system can be used to project a laptop or a video (either DVD or VHS). Call the Registrar’s Office to reserve
during the day.
- The Pennsylvania Room –
accommodates six (6) persons at
a conference table.
- The Center for Teaching & Learning - the official office of
the CTL Committee, created in 2001 to investigate ways to
foster excellence in teaching and learning.
This room is reserved for CTL use.
- Group Study Rooms (Study Rooms A-F) - equipped with white boards and network connections; may be used by students and faculty members on an unreserved basis. These rooms are kept open for individual and small group use.
The Library does not accept recurrent scheduling of its meeting rooms for extended periods.
