Reserve Materials


Members of the faculty or administration may arrange to place books or articles on reserve at the Circulation Desk. Either personal copies or the Library's own materials may be placed on reserve. Reserve materials typically are limited to use in the Library; however, alternate loan periods may be requested. The Circulation Librarian (x4022) coordinates this service for books and articles. Scores, sound recordings, and videos are placed on reserve in the Music Library for use in the Language Lab/Listening Room. General Guidelines:

  1. Deliver all reserve materials to Stephanie Thomas at the Circulation Desk.

Photocopies:

  1. The Library will place one photocopy for every l0 students in your class, unless instructed otherwise.
  2. Photocopies made by the Library are charged to the department's account at $.10/copy. You may provide your own photocopies if you prefer.
  3. All photocopies will be returned to the Professor at the end of each semester in order to comply with the "fair use" copyright guidelines.
