SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University sophomore quarterback Dennis Robertson has been selected as the team's Gus Weber Crusader Player of the Week, sponsored by the Golden Corral Family Steak House along Routes 11 & 15 in Shamokin Dam.

Robertson (Yonkers, NY/Iona Prep) completed 16-of-24 passes for a career-high 327 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Crusaders to a 51-21 win at Juniata in the team's most recent game on Oct. 2.

Robertson, whose 327-yard effort is the 10 th -highest single-game total in program history, connected with Josh Kleha on touchdowns of 67 and 5 yards in the first half and with Duane Park on a 44-yard score in the third quarter to help the Crusaders pile up 568 yards of total offense in the contest.

For the season, Robertson has completed 73-of-131 passes for 1,093 yards and eight touchdowns. He ranks second in the Middle Atlantic Conference in pass efficiency with a 138.3 rating and is fifth in total offense at 207.8 yards per game.

The Golden Corral will donate a check for $100 in the name of Robertson to the charity of his choice during Friday's Quarterback Club luncheon at noon in the Shearer-Weber Dining Rooms in the Degenstein Campus Center on the Susquehanna campus.

Now in their eighth year of sponsorship of the Gus Weber Player of the Week award, Golden Corral has donated $6,800 to charity in the names of Susquehanna players.

The Player of the Week award is named after former Susquehanna University president Gustave Weber , who served as president of Susquehanna for more than 18 years and was a former standout player at Wagner College . He was an avid booster of Crusader athletics, and in particular the football team, which he coached for the final two games of the 1965 season.

The Crusaders (3-2 overall, 2-2 MAC) host Wilkes (2-3 overall, 2-2 MAC) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Lopardo Stadium.
