Paulshock Named Commonwealth Player of the Week
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University senior forward Jess Paulshock has been named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week in women's soccer after scoring four goals in a pair of Crusader victories, the conference office announced Monday. Paulshock (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with 5:55 left in the second half, as Susquehanna defeated Dickinson 2-1 on Thursday, then added two first-half goals to lead the Crusaders to a 2-1 win over Moravian on Saturday for their first win in 10 all-time meetings with the Greyhounds. Paulshock, who has scored at least one goal in all six Crusader matches this season, is tied for the league lead with 10 goals and is second with 22 points. She is on pace to shatter her own program single-season record of 15 goals set during the 2003 season. The Crusaders (5-1 overall, 1-0 Commonwealth) play at Franklin & Marshall on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
