Robertson Named to MAC Football Honor Roll

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University sophomore quarterback Dennis Robertson has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Football Honor Roll for his performance in the Crusaders' 43-19 season-opening victory at Ursinus on Saturday.

Robertson (Yonkers, NY/Iona Prep) , making his first career start, completed 7-of-11 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown to lead the Crusaders to their first season-opening victory since the 2000 season.

Robertson directed Susquehanna to scores on each of their first five possessions, including four straight touchdowns in the second quarter as the Crusaders built a 29-6 halftime lead.

He connected with Josh Kleha on a 40-yard touchdown pass midway through the second quarter to give Susquehanna a 23-6 lead, and earlier hooked up with Duane Park on a 53-yard completion on the first play of the second quarter to set up the Crusaders' first touchdown.

The Crusaders (1-0) host Widener in their MAC opener on Saturday at 7 p.m. under the lights at Lopardo Stadium as part of Homecoming Weekend.
