Snyder Named Second-Team All-Region
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University sophomore forward Nate Snyder has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Adidas Division III All Mid Atlantic Men's Soccer Team, as voted upon by the region's head coaches. Snyder (Catawissa, PA/Southern Columbia) was a second-team selection after he finished the season ranked second in the conference with 16 goals and 35 points, both school single-season records, despite missing two games with an injury. He scored at least one goal in 11 of the 16 games in which he played, including six game-winners. A first-team All-Commonwealth Conference selection, Snyder's 16 goals tied the school single-season record set by Dan Travalet in 1965 while his 35 points broke Travalet's mark of 32 set that season. Snyder, who shared the conference Rookie of the Year Award in 2003, already ranks fifth in program history with 23 goals and is eighth with 54 points in just 35 career games.
