Crusaders Among NCAA Soccer Stat Leaders

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University has placed three players among the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Soccer statistical leaders, through games of September 19.

For the men, sophomore Nate Snyder is ranked sixth in goals per game (1.5) and eighth in points per game (3.17), while sophomore Justin Makar ranks third in assists per game with 1.17, helping the Crusaders to a 5-2 record.

For the women, senior Jess Paulshock ranks 11 th in goals per game (1.67) and 15 th in points per game (3.67) as the Crusaders are off to a 6-1 start.

Snyder (Catawissa, PA/Southern Columbia) , already a two-time Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week, entered the week with nine goals and an assist for 19 points before scoring his 10 th goal in a 2-1 loss at Gettysburg on Tuesday, while Makar (Weirton, WV/Sewickley Academy) netted two goals and seven assists for 11 points in Susquehanna's first six games.

Paulshock (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) , the reigning Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week, scored 10 goals and two assists for 22 points in the Crusaders' first six games, adding her 11 th goal in Tuesday's 3-0 win at Franklin & Marshall.
