Eshleman Named First-Team All-Conference in Volleyball

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University senior middle hitter Kerri Eshleman has become the first player in program history to be named first-team All-Commonwealth Conference four consecutive years, as voted upon by the league's eight head coaches and released Wednesday.

Eshleman (Landisville, PA/Hempfield) finished the regular season ranked third in the conference in hitting percentage (.374), fourth in kills per game (3.54), and fourth in blocks per game (0.97), helping the Crusaders to a 20-10 overall record and third place in the Commonwealth Conference at 5-2.

She is Susquehanna's career leader in kills (1,592) and blocks (559), ranks third in hitting percentage (.344) and has 711 digs and 125 aces in 119 career matches entering Wednesday's conference semifinal match at Elizabethtown.

Eshleman is also a six-time Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week and became the first player in program history to be named the American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Week during the 2003 season.
