SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna University volleyball team is ranked sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the first NCAA Division III regional rankings of the 2004 season, which were released Thursday and reflect all results through Oct. 10.

The Crusaders, who entered the week 17-4 overall and 15-2 in the region, have already surpassed last season's 15-13 record and are closing in on the sixth 20-win season in program history and first since 2001.

Juniata holds the top spot in this week's rankings, followed by Gettysburg, Eastern, Lebanon Valley, Elizabethtown, Susquehanna, Frostburg State and Scranton.
