Eshleman Named All-Region in Volleyball

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University senior middle hitter Kerri Eshleman has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Mid Atlantic Region team, the AVCA announced Wednesday.

Eshleman (Landisville, PA/Hempfield) was named first-team All-Commonwealth Conference for the fourth straight season after she ranked third in the conference in hitting percentage (.361), fourth in kills per game (3.47), and fourth in blocks per game (0.97), helping the Crusaders to a 21-11 overall record and third place in the Commonwealth Conference at 5-2.

She is Susquehanna's career leader in kills (1,612) and blocks (567), ranks third in hitting percentage (.344) and has 720 digs and 125 aces in 121 career matches.

Eshleman was also a six-time Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week and became the first player in program history to be named the AVCA Division III Player of the Week during the 2003 season.
