Reppert, Meara Selected to North/South Senior All-Star Game
SELINSGROVE, PA – Two Susquehanna University field hockey players have been invited to the 2005 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III North/South Senior All-Star Game.
Defender Shelley Reppert and midfielder Caitlin Meara have been chosen to represent the South squad in the game, which will be held Saturday, November 19 at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va.
 Reppert (Hamburg, PA/Hamburg) has started all 18 games and has scored two goals while helping the defense compile a 1.21 goals against average with six shutouts. For her career, Reppert has two goals and two assists for six points in 72 games – all starts.
Meara (Wilmington, DE/Concord) is one of five alternates to the South squad, and was named after scoring a goal and adding five assists for seven points in 18 games. Meara has started 73 consecutive games and has 10 goals and 20 assists for 40 points in her career.
A total of 46 players have been selected to participate in the game, including seven from the Middle Atlantic Conference. Susquehanna is one of three schools with two members on the South team.
The Crusaders (10-8 overall) host Lebanon Valley in a Commonwealth Conference semifinal match on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Sassafras Field.
