SELINSGROVE, PA – Susquehanna University junior Nate Snyder has been named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week in men's soccer after leading the Crusaders to a pair of league victories in action last week, the conference announced Monday.
Snyder (Catawissa, PA/Southern Columbia) tied the school record for goals in a career with his 29th and added an assist as part of a 4-0 victory over Juniata on Tuesday night, then assisted on the lone goal of the match by Justin Makar in a 1-0 win over Widener on Saturday. Snyder, who has been named conference Player of the Week five times in his career, leads the Crusaders (7-3 overall, 2-1 Commonwealth) with six goals and two assists for 14 points in 10 games, and is tied for fifth in the Commonwealth Conference in both goals and points.
