Snyder Named Third-Team All-Region in Men's Soccer
SELINSGROVE , PA – Susquehanna University senior forward Nate Snyder has been named All-Mid-Atlantic Region for the third consecutive season by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Snyder (Catawissa, PA/Southern Columbia) was a third-team selection after scoring three goals and added two assists for eight points in 17 matches this season, as the Crusaders finished 10-8-2 overall and advanced to the Commonwealth Conference championship match for the first time in program history.
Two of Snyder's goals provided the match's lone tallies, in 1-0 wins over Lycoming on Sept. 8 and over Widener in the Commonwealth Conference semifinals on Oct. 31.
A three-time first-team All-Commonwealth Conference selection, Snyder closed his career as Susquehanna's career leader in goals with 37 and points with 88, and also scored 10 game-winning goals in 70 career matches.
