Reichard, Mothershed Earn Baseball Postseason Honors
SELINSGROVE, Pa.– Susquehanna University junior first baseman Matt Reichard and junior second baseman Chris Mothershed have been named second-team All-Commonwealth Conference in baseball as voted upon by the league's eight head coaches and released Tuesday.
For his career, Reichard is a .330 hitter in 92 games with 20 doubles, five triples, five home runs and 54 runs batted in. He needs one hit to become the 15 th player in school history to reach 100 career hits.
For his career, Mothershed has a .283 batting average in 89 games with 85 hits, 11 doubles, 41 runs batted in and 46 runs scored. The Crusaders finished 8-26-1 overall and in eighth place in the Commonwealth Conference with a 3-18 league mark under second-year head coach Matt Karchner.
