SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University sophomores Ryan Walters and Conor Buckley have been recognized as the Middle Atlantic Conference Player and Defender of the Week in men's lacrosse for the week ending March 12, the MAC office announced Monday.

Walters (Easton, PA/Easton) scored five goals and added an assist as the Crusaders defeated Clark 17-9 in their season opener in Sylvan Park, Florida on Wednesday.

Buckley (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) won 40-of-45 faceoffs in two games and collected 13 ground balls as the Crusaders finished the week with a 1-1 record. He won 27-of-28 faceoffs against Clark and 13-of-17 faceoffs in an 8-6 loss to Clarkson on Friday.

The Crusaders host nationally-ranked Gettysburg on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Sassafras Field.
