Costa Named First-Team All-MAC in Men's Lacrosse
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University senior defender Bobby Costa has been named first-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference as voted upon by the conference's 11 head coaches and released Tuesday.
Costa (Chatham, NJ/Chatham) started 15 games and finished fourth on the squad with 38 ground balls as the Crusaders finished 8-8 overall and in fifth place in the MAC with a 6-4 record, earning a postseason berth for the first time in the program's seven-year history. The Crusaders allowed 10 goals or less in 10 of their 16 games, including seven of their 10 MAC contests.
For his career, Costa finished with 14 goals and three assists for 17 points in 54 games, and is tied for eighth in school history with 152 ground balls.
