SELINSGROVE, PA – Six Susquehanna University men's tennis players will compete at the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Lehigh University.

Second-year head coach Tracy Karr's squad includes three players who will be making their MAC championship debut at the flighted tournament, which will crown six singles champions and three doubles champions.

Senior Steve Kane (Wilton, CT/Wilton) is entered at first singles after earning second-team All-Commonwealth Conference honors during the 2006 season.

Sophomore Todd Adams (Brimfield, MA/Tantasqua Regional) will play at second singles with sophomore Cooper Stewart (Barboursville, VA/Solebury School) at third singles, freshman Matt Mitchell (Millville, NJ/Millville) at fourth singles, freshman Andrew Symonette (Philadelphia, PA/Abington Friends) at fifth singles and sophomore Tyler Rush (Line Lexington, PA/North Penn) at sixth singles.

In doubles, Kane and Adams will play at flight one, Stewart and Mitchell at flight two and Symonette and Rush at flight three.

A ction begins on Saturday at 9 a.m. with first, second and third round action. Semifinal and finals action in both singles and doubles will be played Sunday also beginning at 9 a.m.
