SELINSGROVE, PA – Three Susquehanna University baseball players have been named first-team All-Commonwealth Conference, as voted upon by the league's eight head coaches and announced Thursday. First baseman Tyler Reichard was honored as the conference's Rookie of the Year in addition to his selection at first base, and was joined on the first team by outfielder John Lunardi and relief pitcher Rob Fox.
Reichard (Danville, PA/Danville), a sophomore in his first season of eligibility, hit .423 with two home runs and 19 runs batted in while appearing in 36 games. He led the Commonwealth Conference in batting average and triples (6), ranked third in both slugging percentage (.626) and on-base percentage (.482) and finished fourth in hits (52).
Reichard's 52 hits are the fourth-most in a single season in program history, and he also led the team in multiple-hit games (18) while also ranking second on the squad in doubles (7), and walks (14) and third in runs scored with 22.

He finished second on the team in runs scored (30), doubles (7), triples (5), runs batted in and stolen bases (10), and ended the season by going 16-for-34 (.471) with 13 runs scored over the final nine games.
Defensively, Lunardi solidified his reputation as the top defensive outfielder in the conference by recording six assists from center field and averaging 2.6 putouts per game. He also started seven games on the mound and led the Crusaders in strikeouts (38) while tossing four complete games.
Fox (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll School), a sophomore, appeared in 17 games out of the bullpen and compiled a 2-1 record with a save and a 2.66 earned run average. In 20 1/3 innings of work, Fox allowed 19 hits and struck out 18 while walking just five.
He was unscored upon in 12 of his 17 appearances, and did not give up a hit in 10 of those contests. Fox did not allow an earned run in his first 12 1/3 innings of work this season, and held opponents to a .235 batting average.
