Clark Named to MAC Women's Basketball Honor Roll

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University sophomore forward Jen Clark has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference women's basketball Honor Roll for the week ending February 20, the conference office announced Monday.

Clark (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) helped the Crusaders to two victories in the season's final week by averaging 15.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.

She capped a career-high 22-point, 16-rebound performance with two foul shots with 1.5 seconds left to lift the Crusaders to a 74-73 victory over Juniata on Tuesday, temporarily keeping the squad alive for a conference playoff berth.

In the game, Clark went 14-for-18 from the foul line and pulled seven of her 16 rebounds on the offensive glass, including one that set up the game-winning free throws.

Clark followed with nine points, six boards and two steals in a 71-58 win over Albright in the season finale as the Crusaders finished the season 12-13 overall and 7-7 in the conference.

For the season, she led the Crusaders in scoring with 9.2 points per game and ranked third on the team in rebounds with 5.7 boards per contest. Clark is currently second in the Commonwealth Conference in free-throw percentage at 80.3 percent (98-for-122).
