Clark Named Second-Team All-Conference
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University junior forward Jen Clark was named second-team All-Commonwealth Conference in women's basketball as voted upon by the league's eight head coaches and released Tuesday.
 Clark (Elysburg, PA/Southern Columbia) averaged a team-high 12.7 points per game and added 5.2 boards per contest during the regular season to lead the Crusaders (14-11 overall, 6-8 Commonwealth) to their first postseason berth since 2000-01.
Clark scored in double figures 21 times in 25 games, including a season-high of 20 points against Moravian on Feb. 4 and an 18-point effort in the Crusaders' 68-45 victory over Lebanon Valley on Saturday that secured the fourth and final playoff spot in the conference.
She finished the regular season tied for eighth in the conference in scoring average, 10 th in assists (2.6 per game) and sixth in blocked shots (1.0 per game).
Entering Wednesday's Commonwealth Conference semifinal game at Messiah, Clark has career averages of 9.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 70 games, scoring 641 points and pulling 359 rebounds while shooting 73.2 percent (208-for-284) from the foul line.
Moravian junior forward Kelly Applegate was named conference Player of the Year, and was joined on the first team by Messiah senior forward Eli Cook and junior forward Sarah Ringer, Lebanon Valley junior forward Monica Johnson and Widener senior forward Chelsea Luhta.
Joining Clark on the second team were Moravian senior forward Stephanie Seaman, Elizabethtown sophomore guard Erin Walton, Juniata senior forward Katie O'Brien and Albright freshman guard Annie McMahon, who was also named Rookie of the Year while her head coach Janice Luck was named Coach of the Year.
