SELINSGROVE, PA -- Freshman Lauren Snyder (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) has been named Landmark Conference Women's Swimming/Diving Athlete of the Week for her performance against conference foe Catholic this past weekend.

Snyder battled two persistant Cardinals in the 200 freestyle and eventually won the race with a 2:07.61 time, then pulled out a 5:45.24 500 freestyle win. The Susquehanna women upset a previously-unbeaten Catholic team, 107-98, to remain undefeated in Landmark competition.

The Athlete of the Week selections are made by the Landmark Conference office. The conference chooses athletes of the week in men's and women's basketball and men's and women's swimming/diving during the winter sports seasons.
