SELINSGROVE, PA -- Senior Mike Marr (Muncy, Pa./Warrior Run) has been named Landmark Conference Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Bucknell Bison Opener, the Crusaders' first meet of the season.

Marr won the high jump at the Bison Opener with a jump of 2.01 meters (6'7"). He defeated upper-division athletes in the event, as Susquehanna was the only Division III team at the Bison Opener.

The jump also qualified Marr provisionally for the NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships. He earned All-American honors in the high jump during the 2007 spring season, taking sixth at the outdoor championships.

The Athlete of the Week selections are made by the Landmark Conference office. The conference chooses athletes of the week in men's and women's basketball and men's and women's swimming/diving during the winter sports seasons.
