SELINSGROVE, PA -- Susquehanna University men's soccer player Isaac Laubach (Millville, Pa./Millville) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Scholar All-America Team. This is Laubach's third NSCAA individual honor of the season, and the men's team also received team academic honors.

The junior co-captain and defender earned second team honors in the College Division, which includes all non-Division I schools. Laubach is a finance major and maintains a 3.8 cumulative GPA. He is the first Susquehanna men's soccer player to be named Scholar All-American.

"I am very happy for Isaac. He has earned several awards for his play on the field but to be named Scholar All-American is really special," said Susquehanna head coach Jim Findlay. "Isaac sets the example on our team with his hard work and dedication to both academics and athletics. I am looking forward to seeing what he and his teammates can accomplish during his senior season."

Laubach was previously named to the 2007 College Scholar All-East Region first team and the All-Mid Atlantic Region Second Team by the NSCAA. He was also on the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

On the field, Laubach anchored a Susquehanna defense that allowed the fewest goals of any Landmark Conference team, and was third in the conference in shutouts. He was a first-team All-Landmark selection this season as he helped the Crusaders post a goals against average of 0.96. Offensively, he contributed two goals and an assist on the year.
