James Moyer ’80 is the first full-time band director at Lafayette College. He will direct the pep band and the concert band and also develop new courses in music technology. He and his wife, Rosalie, live in Easton, Pa.

Scott Zimmer ’80 is the chief of security at the Ronald Reagan Library. He lives in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Frank Arena
Frank Arena ’80 announced his candidacy for freeholder in Union County, N.J. He is the senior account manager at EMC Corporation.

George A. Henry ’82 was honored as Muncy School District’s “Educator of the Year” at the third annual Education Celebration Banquet and Awards Ceremony held by the Williamsport/ Lycoming County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce’s education committee and Muncy School District administrators recognized George for his exceptional contributions towards personal growth, involvement in the educational community, outstanding leadership qualities, active community involvement and dedication to his professional educational responsibilities. George, a devoted music educator for 22 years, was instrumental in organizing and developing the comprehensive elementary vocal/choral program in the Muncy School District. George has also coached girls’ basketball at all levels for the past twenty years. George teaches general music in grades K-5 in addition to directing the fourth, fifth and sixth grade choruses, the Myers Elementary Honors Chorus, and the Muncy Junior High Chorus.

Valerie Trollinger ’82 married John Flohr in Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing, Pa. Valerie is employed at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. They live in Greensboro, N.C.

Bruce Wilson ’84 is a senior partner at the newly formed New Agency Partners in Parsippany, N.J. The firm is a full-service insurance agency which specializes in offering creative solutions to providing property and casualty, employee benefits and personal insurance coverage. He and his wife, Karen Schmid ’83 Wilson, live in Washington, N.J.

David Bingaman ’85 is the principal at McCaskey East High School. He lives in Lancaster, Pa.

Michael ’85 and Karen Latzko ’85 Ritter celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. Michael is the lead programmer and analyst for Ahold USA. They live in Dunkirk, Md., with their four children.

Mary Beth Sine ’86 Simon accepted the position of house manager at the Arden Theater Company in Philadelphia for their 2004-2005 theatrical season. She had previously been working with the Lantern Theater Company, also in Philadelphia, as an artistic associate and marketing/development assistant. Mary Beth is currently working on her M.A. in theatre at Rowan University of Glassboro, N.J. Her thesis, “Sweeney Todd: Evolution of a Theatrical Archetype,” is scheduled for completion by winter 2005. Mary Beth and her husband, Peter, have been married for five years and reside with their retired racing greyhound, Brindy, in Glassboro, N.J.

Marilyn Pray ’88 Grant is a biochemist at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She and her husband, Patrick, have two children, Alexander and Benjamin. They live in Charlottesville, Va.

Michael Pizzico ’88 married Kellie MacDonald, May 22, 2004, on the beach at the Eden Condominiums in Perdido Key, Fla. Michael is the executive vice president at Consumers Choice Systems. They live in Perdido Key.

Wendy P. Goodspeed ’88 Witt, Esq., has formed a new law firm, Witt Burkett, LLC, with friend Elizabeth A. Burkett, Esq. Providing peace of mind during life’s ups and downs, the firm practices elder law and estate planning/administration and is located in the Fox Chapel/O’Hara area of Pittsburgh. Wendy’s husband, Joseph T. Witt ’89, is a senior physical therapist for the West Penn Allegheny General Health System. They live in O’Hara Township with their three children.
