Kidd is responsible for providing strategic support to the Office of University Relations in the execution of all alumni, parent and development publications, including print and Web. One of Kidd's primary responsibilities is managing the editorial direction of Susquehanna Currents, the university's magazine for alumni and other audiences. She also serves as editor of Ventures, the magazine of the Sigmund Weis School of Business.
Kidd previously served as the university's news and editorial manager, acting as liaison to the news media and managing the execution of a number of print, video and Web projects.
Kidd came to Susquehanna University in 2002 from The Daily Item in Sunbury, where she worked for four years as a reporter. At the newspaper, she covered courts, politics, agriculture and the environment.
Her work has been honored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association and CUPRAP, the Association of Communicators in Education. In 2000, she was awarded the Cissy Patterson Fellowship from the American Press Institute.
