New Faces Join SU Athletics
Two new faces joined the Susquehanna athletics staff this summer: Nathan Milne was named football offensive coordinator and Robert Healy III was named director of athletics communications.
Milne came to Susquehanna from SUNY-Cortland, where he was an assistant football coach. During his tenure at SUNY-Cortland, he worked with the Red Dragons offensive line and the team’s running backs, coaching five All–New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) offensive linemen and one All–NJAC running back. He also spent one year as an assistant coach at Hamilton College.
A 2003 graduate of Hobart College, Milne was a four-year letter winner with the Statesmen, earning first team all-conference honors as a senior and playing on the school’s first two National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament teams.
Healy, before joining Susquehanna’s staff, served as assistant sports information director at Hamilton College. He also served as an assistant track and field coach there, working with throwers. Before his tenure at Hamilton, Healy worked as a media relations liaison for the Pittsburgh Steelers, a journalist for the Pittsburgh Sports Report and a promotions assistant for Clear Channel Communications Inc.
Healy received a bachelor of arts degree in communications studies from Duquesne University in 2005 and a master of science degree in multimedia technology from the same institution in 2006. While at Duquesne, he was a five-year member of both the indoor and outdoor track and field teams and a four-year member of the football team. He was also a sports writer for the Duquesne student newspaper and worked on the student radio station.
