The Susquehanna University Music Preparatory Program is an instructional music program designed for children and adults. It includes:
- Individual lessons in voice, piano, organ, harp, and most band and orchestra instruments
- Group classes that span the ages of infant through adult

Susquehanna Strings
An intermediate orchestra and chamber music program for ages 8-80!
Minimum age: 8 (third grade)
Minimum level: Suzuki book 3 (early intermediate)

Group classes are held at three convenient locations in the Central Susquehanna Valley:
- Selinsgrove (Susquehanna University campus)
- Sunbury (Sunbury YMCA Arts Center / Zion Lutheran Church)
- Lewisburg (St. Paul's United Methodist Church)
Lessons and classes take place during three terms: summer, fall and winter/spring. A recital, held each spring semester, is free and open to the public.
