Wind Ensemble Institute

Wind Ensemble Institute is a summer performance experience for high school students.
The university reviews audition recordings and invites 54 gifted woodwind, brass and percussion players to campus for the Wind Ensemble Institute. The week-long, residential program focuses on chamber music and symphonic wind ensemble performance. Students work with Director of Bands Eric L. Hinton, Ph.D., HonFBC, as well as other distinguished Susquehanna faculty members. High school students entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2015 are invited to apply. Selection is competitive.

- $610 if application and audition recording are postmarked on or before Jan. 1.
- $660 if application and audition recording are postmarked after Jan. 1.
Applications will be accepted until all sections are filled.
A limited number of scholarships are available.
Students may audition on one of the instruments:
- Percussion (must audition on two of the following: timpani, snare drum or mallet percussion)
