Post-graduation plans: I am going to graduate school at Pen State, on track for a dual Ph.D. in history and women's studies.
Most exciting thing about studying in the Honors Program at Susquehanna: “I loved meeting the professors and students that I worked with through the Honors Program. I found that I met my best friends and most influential professors in the stimulating atmosphere the program provided."
Independent research experience: “I took an internship at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., in the fall of my senior year. It was also my study-away opportunity. I lived in the city, took classes through the Lutheran College Washington Semester program, and worked in the Education Outreach Department at the Smithsonian. It was not where I want to be working in the future, but it was a great way for me to participate in a professional environment in my discipline for the first time, and I absolutely loved the city. I highly recommend it!"
