The Prelaw Program’s most important function is advising students through the direction of the prelaw program advisor, Michele DeMary, Ph.D. Her advising begins with students just beginning to consider law school and follows them through the continuation of the application process.
Prelaw students are kept regularly informed about upcoming events and items of interest. Information sessions are held once a semester and designed to provide students with more specific information regarding the actual application process. While these sessions are primarily for the benefit of juniors and seniors, all are welcome to attend.
To help students prepare for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), the program provides a practice exam twice a semester simulating an actual test. In addition, the university pays for one-half the cost of an LSAT preparation course.
