Imagine spending a semester living and studying in the heart of London with fellow students from the Sigmund Weis School of Business. You’ll solidify friendships, hone your thinking, writing and presentation skills, and discover countless opportunities for personal and professional growth.
No wonder the London program has been one of the most popular study-abroad programs for Susquehanna business students since its inception more than 15 years ago.
As part of the program, students take Susquehanna University courses taught by both Susquehanna and British professors. That means they stay on track for graduating on time. During their time abroad, they gain insight into the challenges of conducting business in a global environment, and get hands-on experience solving real problems for international companies.
A highlight of the semester is the European Business Seminar course, in which students complete a consulting project for a company in another European country.
In past years, students have consulted on projects in a variety of industries in Scotland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, France and other countries. The exercise gives them an international perspective on business problems, and opens their eyes to cultural considerations and the collaboration needed to succeed in today’s business world.
In their spare time, students often explore the cultural and historical treasures of other European countries.
