Lutheran College Washington Semester
Susquehanna University joins 13 other Lutheran colleges to sponsor a semester in Washington, D.C. During the semester, students take two seminar courses that are chosen from a selection of elective offerings. Students are also evaluated on the basis of a 30-hour-a-week internship, which they arrange in consultation with their advisor.
In the past, Susquehanna students have completed internships at the White House, the Smithsonian Institution, Cable News Network, the National Organization for Women, and various congressional and government offices, as well as other public and private agencies. Credit earned totals 16 semester hours.
