GO Short Programs
GO Short programs are two-six weeks long and occur either over the summer or winter break, giving students a chance to experience other cultures without interrupting their coursework on campus. These are structured programs, led by Susquehanna faculty and staff. Most programs have a set schedule of activities planned for each day.
For students who prefer to have the familiarity and support of traveling with faculty and classmates from Susquehanna, this is a perfect option.
For those students who prefer a bit more autonomy, but are not able to participate in a GO Long semester program, GO Your Own Way can be a great alternative. With GYOW, students can design their own cross-cultural program for the summer or winter break. They can also choose to enroll in a summer program through an outside provider, such as CIEE or SSA-Spanish Studies Abroad (for a complete list of approved providers, please contact the Office of Cross-Cultural Programs).
Currently, summer programs go to New Orleans, Italy, Austria, the United Kingdom, Prague, the Philippines, Greece, Australia and more. Winter programs include GO Chile and GO New Orleans.
