Lawyer Referral
The clinic does not give legal advice. For those who would like to consult with and possibly be represented by an attorney, the clinic may:
- Coordinate a pro bono services project, in which area attorneys volunteer to represent a limited number of clients without charge.
- Refer clinic visitors to attorneys willing to offer 30-minute consultations at a reduced rate of $30 with the understanding that neither the attorney nor the client will be obligated to extend the relationship beyond the initial meeting.
- Refer visitors seeking to hire counsel to attorneys practicing close to their residence and in the relevant subject area. More information is available through the Lawyer Referral Service at the Pennsylvania Bar Association
