Exterior of Apfelbaum HallWelcome to the Sigmund Weis School of Business!

Business majors at Susquehanna University enjoy the richness of a traditional liberal arts college. They gain broad-based knowledge that employers value. They also benefit from a business program accredited by AACSB International, a respected benchmark of quality.

We prepare students to succeed in the global business community. More than half of junior business majors participate in our London Program. Others study abroad at universities around the world.

Over 70 percent of business majors complete at least one paid summer internship experience. Many of these valuable work opportunities are facilitated through the school’s Internship Program, and often lead to full-time offers upon graduation.

Students also get to meet and learn from our Visiting Executives. Recent guest executives have included the president of Duracell and the chief financial officer of Aetna Insurance. Many of our accomplished alumni also visit the campus as guest speakers.

Several active student clubs enable business students to develop leadership skills. Our Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team has won regional honors every year since its inception, and the Accounting, Investment, and Marketing clubs feature guest executives, team competitions, and trips to national meetings.

Business students at Susquehanna enjoy a modern, high-tech learning environment in Apfelbaum Hall. The building features three computer labs, five team study rooms, classrooms with state-of-the-art instructional technology, two student lounges and high-speed wireless connectivity throughout.

I encourage you to explore our programs for business majors and learn more about Susquehanna University. Please call or e-mail me with your comments and questions. If you visit campus, I’d be happy to meet with you.
