New York City Trips

Day trips to New York City allow Susquehanna students to view the inner workings of a public elementary school in a Latino barrio. On a recent excursion, students are introduced to a bilingual classroom of  a Susquehanna alumna working for Teach for America. After a question-and-answer session with the teacher, students explored the barrio of New York City and ended the evening at a Dominican restaurant for some authentic Latino cuisine.
