Landmark Conference Summer Research Symposium
The 5th annual Landmark Conference Summer Research Symposium will take place on July 24 at Susquehanna University. Students representing Susquehanna University, Juniata College, Goucher College, Moravian College and the University of Scranton will participate. More than 100 attendees are expected.
Students will give oral presentations or present posters of their work; some will have fully finished projects and others will present preliminary results from projects just getting underway. The symposium creates a unique opportunity for undergraduates in the Landmark Conference to gain experience in presenting their research and to gain feedback form others in their field about their projects.
When the Landmark Athletic Conference was established, one of the goals was to create opportunities for students to collaborate in academic as well as athletic venues. The Summer Research Symposium was created to allow students working on summer research projects to present their work to faculty and peers from other Landmark institutions.
The first symposium was held in July, 2009 at Susquehanna, and has since been hosted by Juniata College, Goucher College, Moravian College, and is back at Susquehanna this year.
