Honors Band Festival
The 20th Annual Susquehanna University Honors Band Festival will be held on Feb. 17-19, 2012. This is a unique event developed for the purpose of recognizing the achievements of exceptional high school musicians. As always we will offer two separate ensembles, an Honors Wind Ensemble and an Honors Band. Last year’s festival was an exciting time and this year will also provide your students with a thrilling musical experience. This year’s guest conductor, David Kish '98, Ph.D., is the director of bands at Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colo., where he conducts the wind ensemble and symphonic band and teaches conducting. Kish is an alumnus of Susquehanna University and attended the Honors Band Festival as a high school student.

Feb. 19, 2012 – Honors Band Festival Concert, Weber Chapel Auditorium, 3 p.m.
Nov. 18, 2011 – Deadline for acceptance of applications
