GO Austria: National History, Global Responsibilities
Visit cathedrals, catacombs and a medieval fortress in Salzburg. Go hiking in the Alps and go boating on Alpine Lake. Consider the modern day impact of the Nazi past by working on a project with Austrian university students. Attend a concert or opera in Vienna. Oh, and eat great food!
Location: Salzburg and Vienna, Austria; Munich, Germany
Dates: May 11-31, 2015 (subject to change)
Prerequisite: Readings and research as assigned by the program directors.
Academic credit: Two semester hours; this program and accompanying course satisfy the GO requirement.
Majors of interest: Open to all majors. In the case of a large pool of applicants, preference may be given to history majors, music majors or students who have completed German 201 or higher.

Cost: $4,600; includes all flights, accommodations, activities and most meals.
Financial aid: Need-based financial aid may be available for students satisfying the GO requirement.
