French Language & Culture
Students who travel to Aix-en-Provence in the south of France for this program get to experience a six-week study abroad program.
They live with a host family in one of the loveliest cities in France, travel on weekends to places near (Marseille is only 20 kilometers away) and far (students last year traveled to Morocco, Germany, Rome and Paris, among others sites), and complete two classes for six credits that will transfer to Susquehanna.
One will be a course in Women and Politics that the program director, Michele DeMary, will teach. For a second course, students can choose from courses in a variety of subjects including French, archaeology, art, creative writing and history.
This is a great opportunity for students who might like to study abroad for a semester but can only travel during the summer.
