Business School Begins Search for Fourth Dean
Published on February 8, 2013
Alicia Jackson, dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business since 2007, recently announced that she will step down at the end of the current academic year. A search committee has been formed, including 10 members from a diverse set of stakeholders—five faculty, one staff member, two students and two alumni. The committee is chaired by Barbara McElroy, associate professor and chair of the Department of Accounting. The Macon, Ga., search firm Myers McRae has been retained. To nominate someone for the position, send the information confidentially to consultant David Gring at Susquehanna@myersmcrae.com. The anticipated start date for the new dean is July 1.
