Psychology student in researchA practicum, similar to an internship, is a supervised experience that allows a student to gain practical knowledge of a subject previously studied theoretically.

In addition, service learning has been incorporated into some of our educational and developmental psychology courses, giving students the unique opportunity to work with diverse groups of children in local schools and day care centers.
