The Susquehanna University chapter of the Forum for Undergraduate Student Editors (FUSE) seeks to promote the development of literary journals that showcase undergraduate work. FUSE accomplishes this by creating a network with other chapters through the website where chapters can communicate in forums. FUSE also reviews literary journals and interviews editors from successful publications. More »

Literature Club

Students who love authors and good writing get together once a week to hold readings and review their favorite works in Literature Club. Literature Club also hosts the Literary Death Match once a semester, where students can perform their favorite works in a competition to see who is the best storyteller. Members can also participate in Pre-College Reading Night, trips to local bookstores, and visits to see local plays. More »

SU Slam

SU Slam was founded in 2009 by Creative Writing majors Julie Brown '13 and Alex Guarco '13 who were looking to develop the skills of students interested in performance poetry. The club meets weekly to promote spoken word and sponsors trips to local slams at Bucknell University. The club also has brought in slam troupes, such as The Good News Poetry Tour, in order to promote the art of slam poetry. More »
