What better way to connect students to the real world of business than to provide opportunities for them to interact one-on-one with successful professionals in their fields?
Faculty from the Sigmund Weis School of Business invite such business leaders – many of them alumni – to visit campus many times throughout each semester.
Visiting executives bring a real-world perspective to business theories and concepts. They often serve as judges for student presentations, such as those in the Global Business Perspectives and Business Policy courses. They conduct mock interviews, share their insights and experiences with students, and provide networking support for future jobs. Sometimes they conduct public lectures.
At the beginning of each semester, the Director of Alumni Relations and the Director of the Career Development Center speak to seniors in the Business Policy class to ensure that they make the most of their networking opportunities.
