Hines, a Fulbright senior specialist, has earned universal accreditation (APR) in the public relations profession. He teaches a variety of PR and advertising courses and advises the SU chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He taught PR and advertising in Russia during the summer of 2008. His recent textbooks are Print Matters: How to Write Great Advertising (Racom, 2008) and The Writer’s Toolbox (Kendall/Hunt, 2005).
