Theta Alpha Kappa Honor Society

Theta Alpha Kappa (TAK) is the national honor society for religious studies and theology. Susquehanna's chapter, Alpha Theta Phi, was founded in 2008, and is one of more than 200 nationwide. The society started in 1976 at Manhattan College to recognize the academic achievements of religion and theology students.

At Susquehanna, religion majors with at least a 3.5 major GPA and a 3.0 overall GPA are eligible for induction.

The society’s primary publication, the Journal of Theta Alpha Kappa, accepts student-submitted articles and offers an annual prize and the publication of outstanding student papers
